John Hourican
Member of the Supervisory Board
John Hourican is CEO of NewDay Limited. He was CEO of Bank of Cyprus from 2013 to 2019 and Chief Executive of RBS’s Investment Bank from 2008 to 2013. From 2007 to 2008, he was CFO of ABN AMRO Group for a consortium of banks. He joined RBS in 1997, holding positions such as Finance Director and COO of the wholesale banking division. He started his career at PwC in Corporate Finance and Audit roles. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds degrees in Economics and Sociology from the National University of Ireland and Dublin City University.
